Hello, i wanted to try out ipv6 so i signed up, but i'm having a few problems getting it to work!
I tried a few different servers, but i'm having the same trouble with each of them,
these are the tunnel info i got:
Server IPv4 address: 216.66.80.30
Server IPv6 address: 2001:0470:1f0a:137a::1/64
Client IPv4 address: 85.145.96.121
Client IPv6 address: 2001:0470:1f0a:137a::2/64
i'm behind a nat/router, i can try to put it in bridged mode later (when nobody else is home),
but that shouldn't make a difference right?
I followed the configuration steps and now it looks like this:
#ifconfig
nfe0: flags=8943<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,PROMISC,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 1500

What could be wrong?
is your freebsd box' IP 85.145.96.121?
it's the ip of the gateway (modemnat-thing)
is your gateway (192.168.1.1=85.145.96.121) permiting (redirecting/forwarding) protocol 41?
PJ
i didn't think of that! It seems it isn't capable of doing that (it's an orange livebox?). at least the web interface show it's supposed to accept all protocols :'(
i put it in bridge mode and everything works like a charm! i guess i'll give myself a nice replacement for it as a late christmas present, been meaning to do that for ages ;D
thanks alot for the quick help btw!
