Hello guys,
First off, I apologize if this has already been discussed. I saw some similar threads, but I'm not sure if it's the same issue that I'm having, so therefore I'm opening a new one.
Anyways, I'm having issues with accessing certain IPv6 hosts from my computers that have the HE /48 IPv6 assigned to them. My router has HE /64 assigned to it, and it has no issues as far as I can tell, the problem is only with hosts with the /48 assigned.
Here's an example:
Ping from my router and traceroute(/64 IPv6 assigned to it):
-------
$ ping6 -c3 www.he.net
PING www.he.net(he.net) 56 data bytes
64 bytes from he.net: icmp_seq=1 ttl=57 time=79.9 ms
64 bytes from he.net: icmp_seq=2 ttl=57 time=80.1 ms
64 bytes from he.net: icmp_seq=3 ttl=57 time=79.9 ms

$ traceroute6 www.he.net

So the issue is only happening when I try to access certain IPv6 hosts such as www.yahoo.com or www.he.net.
Anyone have any ideas as what what's going on?
Thank you in advance.

Maybe the routing entry for your /48 has not propagated everywhere in the HE network. You should file a ticket with ipv6@he.net and ask them to look into it.
You can use http://lg.he.net/ to see what the traceroute looks like from the other end. I don't know if it will provide any additional clues.
Thanks a lot for the response kasperd!
I've gone ahead and opened a ticket with HE. I'll see what their response is.
