Hello,
I actually feel uncomfortable as I found no way to track whether my t-shirt will be sent.. I'm on stage sage(http://goo.gl/q1ogG) but I'm living out of US so I'm not sure whether I'd get that..
Anyway let me know whether they will be sent or in your to-sent list ;D
Thanks,
T-shirts are sent out in batches every couple of months to everyone who attained sage since the last batch. We send t-shirts all over the world, so that's not a problem. Just make sure you validate your postal address, and you'll get lumped into the next batch.
I also can't wait for mine to come.
This is a neat program, gets people aware of IPv6 and encourages sys admins to go dual stack. I like that.
I'm finally going to be taking my RHCE exam at some point in near future (have to study up on new stuff they added, and to be honest, refresh old stuff they test for that I rarely do) - I plan on wearing mine there as good luck charm :D (assuming it arrives by then) Might wear it once before, but I want it to have that new shirt look.
I just made 1500 points a second ago ;D 8) ;D 8) ;D 8) ;D w00t
no shirt however :-\ but I have the cred!!!! ;)
Can someone tell me how to get this shirt?

Pass the IPv6 Certification Program by completing Sage.
I made Sage in July ( I think ), no shirt yet.
Do I need to get to 1500 first?

No, you only need to attain sage. You don't need to get all 1500 points for the t-shirt. We send the tshirts out in batches every couple of months. We haven't sent out a batch since July. I'm not sure when another batch is being sent out.
Another tally was made this week. Should be another new batch relatively soon.

Can't hardly wait, if everything worked out well, my shirt is in the next batch :)
You do have to validate your address before you'll get a shirt - just getting to Sage isn't enough.
How do I validate my address?
Actually, I know that the address on record for me is outdated. I tried to update it, but the system refused to accept my new address, it said something along the lines of address must consist of letters and digits. I tried to remove the space between the street name and the house number, but that didn't help. Since I am going to be moving again fairly soon, I didn't put much effort into finding out the reason. But maybe I should to ensure that my next update will go through.
You validate your address on the last element of your "IPv6 Certification Scorecard", entry "Validate address and T-shirt request".
I don't see that on your scorecard, so it may well be that it won't show up until you hit 1000 points or some such.
You will be able to validate your address once you reach Sage.
Here is what I found out. There are two different forms to update the address information. One on http://www.tunnelbroker.net/account.php and another one on http://ipv6.he.net/certification/account.php
The data is the same. Changes made in one shows up in the other. However they don't validate the data the same way. The validation in the form on ipv6.he.net appears to be too strict and reject valid addresses as it happened to me. The one on tunnelbroker.net allowed me to enter my correct address.
The form on tunnelbroker.net cannot show the current "Company Name", the field is empty regardless of what has been entered previously. But any update to the field made on tunnelbroker.net does reflect in the form on ipv6.he.net.
Validating the address and picking a t-shirt size can only be done from the form on ipv6.he.net.
hello, when is the next batch ?
thanks
hello again, I was refering to the next batch of T-Shirt.
Supposed to be about every 2 months.
However, I haven't gotten mine and its been 6 months ( or close to anyway ) :o
Feel like I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth if I complain. So just sit back and relax. Sooner or later it'll be there.
I just got my shirt on Monday. I live in Texas, so I hope this helps any Americans who are still waiting on their shirts.
I'm in Europe, and I received mine today. Something somewhere has the character encoding misconfigured. I can tell from the misprinted address on the envelope, that something received the address as UTF-8, but interpreted it as latin-1. Luckily that didn't prevent it from reaching the proper destination.
I also received it today... Stockholm, Sweden
Regards,
Z
OK, I got my Sage back in April and validated my address right away. No T-Shirt yet...who should I contact?
Tshirts get sent in batches. So, when they're ready. Patience grasshopper.
I'm waiting for t-shirt since June 2011. I'm not in hurry but I don't want it to be lost. I live in Europe. I removed national characters from address (but it's still readable). Is it normal? Should I email he.net staff?
I did the tests back in July - and received mine just before New Year - I am in the UK btw
Many thanks !
regards
R
I sent an email to ipv6@he.net suggesting they could put information on http://ipv6.he.net/certification/account.php about which date the t-shirt was being sent. I suppose they do have that information. At the very least they do need to keep track of who they sent it to, so I suspect it would be a small amount of coding to automatically display it.

I just become a sage today, thanks a lot to Hurricane Electric for creating such a useful program for ipv6. I also want to thank you for the free dns and the free ipv6 tunnels. I too wonder when the next batch will be sent but its fine, thank you so much Hurricane Electric and greetings from Turkey.
I become sage few months ago, I would like to wear this T-shirt, but, I don`t know should I expect that or not?!
Tnx in advance! ;)
Do people just post to the thread without actually reading it?
Email ipv6@he.net to get any kind of information.
I live in the Bay Area, about a 15 minute drive from HE's building. Could I just go pick up my shirt there?

I don't think the shirts go through there. I got the impression that each batch is sent more or less directly from the manufacturer to the recipients.

Vendor ships the shirts direct to user. Only undeliverable returns were sent back to HE's offices. Then they try getting them delivered. Or maybe use them as cloth napkins for Friday Lunch :)
Need My Sage tshirt please
