Title: Was type of Site-local address abandoned?

was there any news of site-local address disappeared?

i saw RFC3879 mentioned some disscussion about this, and sure for now?

i was asking about "This deprecation does not prevent their continued
   use until a replacement has been standardized and implemented.", is there any formally abolish?

"formally deprecates" means not recommanded, "formally abolish" means there is no site-local address type which not routeble on internet anymore.

rfc3879 born in 2004, i only want to know some surely information in this 10 years and what u talked about...
