Title: Dallas PPTP/VPN beta down?
Post by: cheatv6 on September 23, 2013, 09:32:24 PM
For the first time in a long while, I've tried to connect to the PPTP endpoint for tserv8.dal1.ipv6.he.net and each device I throw at it (Windows 2008 R2, Win 8, FreeBSD, a couple of tablets) all instantly disconnect with the generic error of "it didn't work."  I reset the password and waited several hours, just to make sure; no go.  Realizing in advance that the service is beta, did it go away or am I doing something wrong?

It went away like 3 years ago: http://www.tunnelbroker.net/forums/index.php?topic=942.msg6888#msg6888

Huh, imagine that.  I knew that new tunnels stopped being allocated PPTP credentials some time ago but I thought existing tunnels still worked.  Welp, thanks for the info, I'll quit trying now.
