Title: PTP /64 rDNS
Post by: evantkh on February 02, 2015, 02:09:22 AM
Why PTP /64 rDNS is not delegated?

The username is exposed to traceroute.

Prevent from my username mapped to the IP when seen from general public.

Actually, will manually adding the PTP /64 to the dns.he.net works?

No. RDNs on the link /64 is for branding and not user controllable.

No. RDNs on the link /64 is for branding and not user controllable.

When adding the zone at dns.he.het, a notice of rdns not delegated will be shown saying will delete after 2 weeks, but after that the rdns will work well.

This raises my concern on the security of the sub-zones of my prefixes delegated to dns.he.net.

By design, you can delegate them elsewhere.
