Title: Seattle PoP Peering
Post by: curriegrad2004 on March 30, 2010, 01:38:30 AM
Is there any chance that HE will peer with Telus Communications (AS862) with the Seattle PoP?

The reason I'm asking this is apparently they have a PoP down there and it just makes no sense for routing tunnel traffic bound to Seattle via the one in Chicago...

If there is a possibility of peering with Telus at the Seattle PoP, then that would be a great thing to have.

They're actually AS852.  I'll look into it.  If it does happen, it won't be overnight.   I do appreciate the peering suggestions however.

Yeah, even if it does happen, I think it still has to go through the east. Their routing tables do look like a huge disorganized routing system to me anyways.
