Title: routing randomly stops
Post by: garywsmith on December 13, 2010, 01:47:53 PM
I have a small funky issue.  I have a bridge that is working just fine now.  From my tunnel at my backup DNS, which is at a different provider, I sometimes cannot ping my network on the other side.

Here is what I noticed.  When I made any changes to my bridge, to include iptables, I lose the ability to resolve incoming IPV6 on that network until I try to make an outbound connection.  After that everything works fine.  So, if I reboot the firewall, nada.  If I then ping out then everything coming in is good.  I'm not sure what the problem could be.

The ip6tables rule allow all icmp in any directions (at the first rule).

Any ideas?
