Title: is the IPv6 Glue Test correct ?
Post by: noquierospam on April 29, 2011, 01:43:03 AM
I think that the domain is correct, querying the dns I got the glue records

[...]

The domain gandi.net have not glue records, but that's another problem.

Hi (Jesus?),

I contacted Gandi the other day and asked them to please add AAAA records to their registrar glue records. To my amazement they did! They responded saying that they had done this on 28 April at 15:54 CEST. Since their records have a TTL of 172800 maybe we just need to wait until some time after 30 April...

Cheers / Saludos,
Len

Hi Jesus,

How did you fix it? I'm with Gandi, the name servers for my domain have IPv6 glue, and the test is still failing.

Thanks,
Len

The fix was:
1.- to change the nameservers to Hurricane Electric
2.- run the sage test
3.- change the nameservers to Gandi again

;)

P.S. the change was very fast in Gandi.  Hours, not days.

Thanks Jesus. I don't think I'll do that just for this test with my production domain.

Hmm, I got through Sage with a domain registered with gandi using IPv6 glue.
