Title: Ping Required to keep tunnel up?
Post by: moc on October 18, 2008, 03:19:38 PM
Hi.  I have been enjoying my tunnel for the last week or so.  Everything works great.  I have been working with a cisco 2811 router and recently just started getting my ACLs set up.  I have been able to successfully set up a rule that prevents inbound traffic to any host unless it is in response to outbound traffic. (reflexive ACL).  However, I do not wish to block HE from pinging my tunnel especially if it is required.  Right now I have the "Client IPV6 Address" of my tunnel ping-able from what is listed as the "Server IPV6 address".  Is this sufficient?  Thanks

Sounds correct to me, but wait for confirmation from the HE staff.
