Title: Whatever happened to the PPTP Tunnel?
Post by: kmp6 on May 22, 2012, 04:54:42 AM
Guys,

I remember there was a beta of PPTP tunneling at some point in '10...

I'll stipulate that the terms of this were something like, "we're trying it out, but making no promises".  Unfortunately, I got involved too late to actually test this before the beta ended.

But: was the trial successful?  It seems like it would be a really useful feature to have.  I'd love to hear of any plans to roll this out - and if you're on the fence, this is a vote for the program.

Thanks!

QuoteTemporarily suspended pending debugging and improvements. No ETA when/if it will be back. It was a successful first BETA round.

It's a little bit confusing that the PPTP data is still in the tunnel options without any notice that it is not functional!
