Title: BGP Med support on tunnel (and local peering)
Post by: kazar on September 19, 2012, 10:40:37 AM
Hi there.

I currently peer with BGP tunnel and local IX also.

I want to add some more intelligencia to the peer, and announce route with a bigged MED when I peer using a tunnel and lower med when I peer with local IX and he.net.

Now I dunno if HE backbone does deterministic MED and if it is honored ?

Regards,
Xavier / AS35189

I recall only AS prepending being the only thing that would affect learning/preferring your routes learned over the tunnel. Perhaps best answered by emailing ipv6@he.net and opening a ticket.
