Title: bgp.he.net lacking 32-bit ASN support
Post by: kasperd on October 27, 2012, 03:15:57 AM
I came across AS23456 (http://bgp.he.net/AS23456) when browsing through peerings on bgp.he.net. I interpret this as bgp.he.net lacking support for 32-bit ASNs. Is that interpretation correct?

Considering there's a link right on that page to AS197248, I think the interpretation is flawed.  Just means we saw a path in the feed data that included 23456 directly.  You can just check routeviews and see it hiding out there.

Also, the folks who work on that don't read these forums.

I'm not sure which routeviews you have in mind.

Oregon route-views.
