Title: IP is blocked. (abuse / attack attractor)
Post by: st0ner on December 02, 2012, 04:18:21 AM
Heya guys,

I got a VPS online, i tried to create a ipv6 tunnel using the IP they gave me but i keep getting "IP is blocked. (abuse / attack attractor)".

I checked around and the IP isnt listed in the major blacklisted IP's on the internet.. anyone know how to fix that or faced this problem and solved it before?

Have you contacted your hoster? That should have been the first step.

Why? To me it doesn't sound like they could do anything.

This was the reply from ipv6@he.net:

QuoteThese IPs are blocked due to abuse of our tunnelbroker service. They will not be unblocked at this time.

I guess i picked the wrong provider for my VPS :s

Maybe you guys can suggest reliable and affordable VPS provider that have good reputation?

Go with one that has native IPv6. Linode, BuyVM, etc. I cannot in good conscience recommend OVH.

Rackspace cloud servers also have native IPv6 support enabled by default.
