Post by: lexxai on March 15, 2013, 07:18:15 PM
used FreeBSD 9.1, Windows 7
Try send email via IPv6 to google via own email server. Can't connect to MX's.

Checking it  gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com:
telnet -6 2a00:1450:4001:c02::1b 25
Trying 2a00:1450:4001:c02::1b...
....

Ping ok, Traceroute Ok

Check it:
http://www.subnetonline.com/pages/ipv6-network-tools/online-ipv6-port-scanner.php

Checked port 25 on Host/IP 2a00:1450:4001:c02::1b...
The checked port (25, service smtp) is online/reachable!
Completed portscan in 0.0092 seconds

Checking IMAP -ok.
telnet -6 imap.gmail.com 995
Trying 2a00:1450:4013:c01::6c...
Connected to gmail-imap.l.google.com.
Escape character is '^]'.

Try check himself, all tested ports opened, only 25 is closed.

How diagnose where is problem.

FreeBSD a just clear installed from ISO at VMWare.
No Firewall.

Can say other HOSTs with work IPv6 25 port for test?
