Title: IPV6 LAN VPN
Post by: Tanner Ryan on July 29, 2013, 05:58:58 PM
Hello everyone

I once again have another question!!!

So when thinking about how to get my LAN access to IPv6, I thought, what if I host a PPTP server on my laptop that has access to both IPv4 and IPv6 and then connect all the other computers on my LAN to the VPN PPTP server.

When I created it (On Windows 8 but acts almost exactly the same as windows 7) it connected to the VPN with no problem but it then says I have no access to IPv4 and IPv6 internet!

How can I fix this problem??

Computer hosting VPN: Windows 8 (basically 7) Laptop
Device accessing VPN: iPad 3

Is this something you really want to do or are you doing it just to provide ipv6 access to your lan?  If it's the latter, there are easier ways of doing it.

I am trying to provide my LAN with IPv6 connectivity but my router does not support tunneling!
