Title: tunnel problems?
Post by: slaxative on January 04, 2009, 05:01:08 PM
All of a sudden my tunnel is dropping out tonight.
Tunnel server is 66.220.18.42.
Ping is erratic at best 9 packets of 45 making its destination.

An attempt to ddos the tunnel-server or someone behind it, from the looks of things.

Incidentally it's being filtered for now. I'll check back later and see if it has subsided. Tunnels should be operating fine now.

Again?

Again what? Seems in the last 2 days a bunch of bored individuals have decided to attempt attacks on random tunnel servers, as well as other IPv6 enabled sites on the internet. I've nuked accounts, tunnels, and filtered some of the attacks against our tunnel-servers. Unfortunately most if not all of this is getting traced back to IRC crap.

Forgive my vagueness. It seems I'm experiencing the same ill effects as the night before.
Thank for all your help.
Its unfortunate the quantity of douche bags on IRC has not diminished.
