I have a /48 from tunnelbroker.net and I have configured my openwrt appliance and my appliance is somehow sharing IPv6 addresses on my LAN. The last part is somehow magical, not really sure how the IPv6 addresses are distributed.
From my MacBook I can ping6 google.com.

I am running some guest VMs on VirtualBox from my MacBook and would like to be able to assign some static IPv6 addresses.
Not really sure where to start even.
1) What type of network is required? Right now I am running using a NAT Network and would like to continue using.

Sadly, this is a long standing known issue on Virtualbox when you're bridging a wireless interface. If you want IPv6 on your virtualbox VMs, you'll need to use a wired connection or be the guy that fixes this bug.

Another method is to do routing on your host and point a static route to your host.
You can do this with HE's tunnelbroker IPs because HE provides static IPs for each tunnel.
