Title: Feature request: allow several DDNS A records for same domain
Post by: an0nym on April 07, 2015, 04:04:14 AM
Hi!

I have a domain delegated to ns*.he.net and have set up several A records for it with different passwords.

I've tried to update all of them using username=domain and different password for each of them but only one of them gets updated and other updates get rejected.

Am I doing anything wrong and such updates are possible?
If such updates are impossible, would you consider implementing support for them?

Given that this was requested over 7 years ago, I'm not holding out much hope, but I would also like this, not only for A/AAAA records, but also for TXT records as well.

The current implementation for dynamic record updates is not up to the job for automatic Let's Encrypt certificate renewals because more than one TXT record can be created, usually due to domain.tld and *.domain.tld being listed as subject alt names on the certificate.

If the update system first found records by name, then by secret key, this would work.  As it is, LE certificate renewal with 2FA enabled doesn't seem possible.
