Title: Poor TCP throughput
Post by: xxxyyyzzz0 on May 13, 2015, 12:17:08 AM
Hi,

I use two mikrotik devices with two tunnel brokers separately. The IPv4 bandwith between two routers is about 70Mbps, and the ping is 100ms.
The throughput test results are confusing.

One TCP connection20 TCP connections
IPv4 directly10Mbps70Mbps
IPv6 tunnel (he.net, IP proto 41)200Kbps2Mbps
EoIPv6 tunnel (IP proto 97) in IPv6 tunnel (he.net, IP proto 41)9Mbps70Mbps
The throughput of each TCP connection in IPv6 tunnel is very poor. Using another IP protocol (e.g. 97) can make it faster.
Is there any restriction in he.net IPv6 tunnel broker?

I have no idea on it, but I also get very poor performance these two days using Hong Kong server. Also Unstable ping.

Resumed normal now.
