Title: are tunnels with changing source IP addesses supported?
Post by: pmowry on February 05, 2009, 12:07:51 PM
Hello,
My DSL service is DHCP based and my public IP address changes often.  Does HE have a tunnel service that would be username/password based to allow dynamic IPs?  Currently my tunnel endpoint is a cisco router, but I have a linux server behind it that could do the job too.

Thanks and forgive me if this has been asked before.  My forum searching skills leave much to be desired.

Thanks!!!
I already have a script that updates a DynDNS.org entry only when the public IP address changes, so I'll add that line to the script.

Just out of curiosity, what did you search for in the forums to find that post?

I just happen to know topic 150.0 has it because I answer this question at least 3 times a week in opened tickets.
