Title: RFC3627 vs RFC6164
Post by: lbarros on July 07, 2016, 05:16:40 AM
I noticed my Client IPv6 address for my tunnel is a /64 based on the RFC3627 but then in 2011 a new RFC6164 came out advising to use /127 for router to router point to point links due to security issues and possible DDoS Neighbor Cache Exhaustion Issues, so I am wondering about this.

I normally use /127 on all my router point to point links at work based on RFC6164 and I was wondering what your take was on this.

Thanks,

Luciano
