Title: Need help on Enthusiast test
Post by: Googlybear0316 on September 13, 2016, 12:11:44 AM
Hello everyone, I am not much of a forum user, so feel free to redirect me if I'm not posting in the correct board. Anyway, although I'm new to ipv6, I have a fair grasp on the concepts behind it. What I lack is the technical knowledge of how to set up web servers. I have a domain name registered with HEs dns services,  and when I do a dns lookup online, it shows up with the ipv6 address of my endpoint, so all seems good there. My problem is that when I try to have HE pull a file from my webserver for the test, I get a message after some time saying "can't connect to host." Windows firewall is disabled. I haven't found any good guides that explain what I'm encountering, they just list the steps for setting it up, which I've done to the letter. Anyway, if anyone can point me in the right direction that'd be greatly appreciated.

I'm on Windows 10 also.

Thanks,
John

The tunnel ip is different from the ip you use for devices/hosts

Can you provide more detail on your setup?
