Title: Has anyone been able to configure email through tunnel?
Post by: AquilaTech on April 13, 2017, 08:23:39 AM
I setup a tunnel with the intention of having my Exchange servers connect through it, but I have a problem.
The reverse-dns name for outgoing email is [my tunnel name].ipv6.he.net.

This of course does not match my Exchange server host name, and therefore it is going to be flagged as spam by the community.
I can find no want to change my reverse-dns name for the tunnel endpoint.

Is anyone out there using a Hurricane tunnel with production email?

Yep, I've been using Exchange 2010/2013 with mine for about 8 years now.

HE delegates RDNS do you, so you can host RDNS on your servers and give it any value you want.
