Hi,
My tunnel is all set up and I've had no problems using it, however, a few times I've come across places where their ipv6 side of things is just plain broken and I need to connect via ipv4. Is there an easy, quick(i.e no reboot required) to disable ipv6 or the tunnel?
A side issue is that I can't seem to delete the tunnel using the command "netsh interface ipv6 delete interface IP6Tunnel", am I using the correct syntax or must the route/address be deleted before you can delete the interface? Using Vista x64.
Thanks in advance
try: netsh interface ipv6 del v6v4tunnel interface=IP6Tunnel $ipv4b $ipv4a
and change out the values for the variable of course
I tried it and got the following:
C:\Users\Jim\>netsh interface ipv6 del v6v4tunnel interface=IP6Tunnel 192.168.1.101 216.66.80.26
The following command was not found: interface ipv6 del v6v4tunnel interface=IP6Tunnel 192.168.1.101 216.66.80.26.
