Title: Setting up Dlink Dir-615
Post by: okawa on July 25, 2009, 02:13:01 AM
I am having a heck of a time trying to get the tunneling to work with IPv6 Tunneling

It supports it and I have all the info from the site copied to the router.

I get full IPv6 networking but I cant get internet to work. I think it may have some thing to do with the address I have setup near the bottom the lan address.

Thanks for all the help in advanced.

You need to use an IP out of your routed /64 on the LAN interface.

Where would I find that?

You can find it on your tunnelbroker.net tunnel detailes page.
It will probably by 2001:470:19:208::/64 18->19

And by the way - your ip 2001:470:18:208::2 dosn't seem to resond to pings. I have no idea if it's the dlink droping or the tunnel is not fully up.

Also your dlink's 2001:470:18:208::2 respond to pings now.
Btw - you seem to be around 200ms away from the Hkg tunnel server - mayby some other tserve are closer (at least network wise).

put in 2001:470:8:415::1 for the LAN IPv6 Address

Also, why did you take a /48 if you are trying to use a single /64?

I looked up your account information to provide you the /64 and noticed you took a /48. since those are not automatically allocated, and the d-link only supports a single /64, was only curious.
