Title: Can't reach reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl
Post by: gogle on August 06, 2009, 06:49:03 AM
Hi guys,
Since yesterday I can't reach this ipv6 news server - reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl.
I was using it without any problems for about a month.
Can you please take a look.
Thank you.

Yeah, traces get !H a few hops after we hand off to our peer. Can't trace to it from other IPv6 enabled traceroute/looking-glasses either. Telnet to port 119 times out. If this was a service we operated, we could investigate further. Have you tried contacting the maintainers of the news server?

XSnews is aware of the issue, but they seem to be working fairly slowly towards fixing it.

I e-mailed the admin of XSnews last night and it is back up again.
