Title: Operation not permitted (Mac)
Post by: kleinerschwabe on September 11, 2009, 10:03:30 AM
Hi,
i get a tunnel and want to configurate it in the terminal.
so i type "ifconfig gif0 create" and press return and get this: "Operation not permitted"
Ok, i think sudo will be helpfull: "sudo ifconfig gif0 create"
the terminal answer: "sudo: /private/etc/sudoers is mode 0644, should be 0440"
what means this? and how can i make it working?
Thanks for help
Uli

Instead of "create", try specifying an address.
