I'm testing Teredo connectivity on Ubuntu.
Firefox opens IPv6 websites...except google.
http://ipv6.google.com/ doesn't work.
None ipv6.google.com AAAA records work:
http://[2a00:1450:8006::6a]/ doesn't work.
http://[2a00:1450:8006::67]/ doesn't work.
http://[2a00:1450:8006::68]/ doesn't work.
http://[2a00:1450:8006::69]/ doesn't work.
http://[2a00:1450:8006::63]/ doesn't work.
http://[2a00:1450:8006::93]/ doesn't work.
Other address I got on this forum works!
http://[2001:4860:a003::68]/ WORKS!
ping to any of this addresses confirms firefox result.

we run a relay everywhere a tunnel-server is, but we don't run any teredo servers.

MS runs the servers. Those are static IP entries in Windows although you can change it afaik. They only get the very first packet of a Teredo connection. Everything else goes through the relays.
Anyone can run a relay and there are well known anycasted IP ranges that handle all the traffic after the first packet to the MS servers. The relays are essentially doing NAT but from v6 to v4. We use a version of Miredo. http://www.remlab.net/miredo/ I'm not aware of any Cisco gear that does it, but that's not to say one of their boxes that does NAT well couldn't do it.
Yeh. I've just been curious about what IPv6 transition stuff that HW vendors support, and how much of this still has to be done w/ general purpose computers and OSes. Appears most of it. :P
I run Teredo in Ubuntu, and most of the time I have no problem with ipv6.google.com. I set "gg:" to bring it up, so if I do a web search and ipv6 is down, I know. Several days ago, though, ipv6.google.com wasn't working. I could still access another ipv6 host.
I have three Teredo servers to choose from; I currently have it set to teredo-debian.remlab.net.
I am using Firefox on Mac OS X with a m0n0wall managed tunnel from HE - and every once in awhile ipv6.google.com stops loading.
A quick dscacheutil -flushcache brings it back - I suspect one host isn't responding, but I don't know a way to determine which one.
