Title: dns.he.net slave
Post by: mthode on April 26, 2010, 03:59:44 PM
I am currently using my own bind server and having xname.org pull the reccords as a slave.  Is there a way to do this with dns.he.net?

From inside dns.he.net:

Bugs or feature requests should be directed to dnsadmin@he.net.

Title: dns.he.net - DNSSEC aware?
Post by: snarked on May 28, 2010, 05:27:17 PM
I previously asked whether DNSSEC would be deployed in your network.  However, this is a different question:

Are HE's name servers (including those in the "dns.he.net" service) at least DNSSEC aware?

I ask because at least one of my secondaries is NOT, and since .ORG will be signed in a month's time (and I have a .ORG domain which I have just signed), I would rather have a secondary that is aware - so that an appropriate answer can be handed out.

I am aware that HE hasn't announced secondary service yet (since it's an "upcoming feature"), but it never hurts to ask?

By aware, I do mean "DNSSEC awareness" that includes NSEC3-RRs.
