Is it possible for someone to test the url;
http://wraith.bhazey.co.uk/bbcrbms43w.txt

I'm failing the Enthusiast test, but as far as I can tell I've set up the DNS record and web server correctly.  Hurricane Electric has said it appears to be a DNS caching issue, but its been like this for over 24 hours.

Cheers,
Bran

The link works.

This is what I get on my screen

<a href="http://ipv6.he.net/certification/scoresheet.php?pass_name=hazeyb" target="_blank"><img src="http://ipv6.he.net/certification/create_badge.php?pass_name=hazeyb&badge=1" width=128 height=128 border=0 alt="IPv6 Certification Badge for hazeyb"></img></a>

EDIT

Your server has both IPV4 and IPv6 addresses, so I'm not sure which one I connected on

[carl@mars ~]$ host wraith.bhazey.co.uk
wraith.bhazey.co.uk has address 94.195.210.83
wraith.bhazey.co.uk has IPv6 address 2001:470:1f08:181::2

I can't ping you, but that might be on purpose

[carl@mars ~]$ ping6 wraith.bhazey.co.uk
PING6(56=40+8+8 bytes) 2001:470:c27d:e000:20c:29ff:fe26:51b7 --> 2001:470:1f08:181::2
^C
--- wraith.bhazey.co.uk ping6 statistics ---
60 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss

hazeyb

thats great, Cheers for checking.

cholzhauer

You beat me to it...I submitted the edit above just after you posted.

You'll have to check your server logs and see which IP address I came in on.  My system is set to prefer IPv6, so if you're seeing an IPv4 address, something isn't set correctly on your end.

hazeyb

I'm seeing two connections that have come in from IPv6 addresses.  IPv4 connectivity should not be allowed.  Hoping the caching on Hurriance side will catch up at some point.

cholzhauer

HE knows about you

[carl@mars ~]$ dig aaaa wraith.bhazey.co.uk @2001:470:200::2

And, I can ping your IPv4 address

[carl@mars ~]$ ping 94.195.210.83

I'm not having any luck.

wget -6 http://wraith.bhazey.co.uk/bbcrbms43w.txt
--10:22:21--  http://wraith.bhazey.co.uk/bbcrbms43w.txt
           => `bbcrbms43w.txt'
Resolving wraith.bhazey.co.uk... failed: Name or service not known.

I can't get an AAAA result, only A

hazeyb

ICMPv6 should now be allowed aswell.  IPv4 connectivity to the website shouldn't be allowed, but you'll be able to ping my Ipv4 address.

broquea

Flushed cache manually, should be good now.

cholzhauer

Yep, IPv6 ping works

[carl@mars ~]$ ping6 wraith.bhazey.co.uk
PING6(56=40+8+8 bytes) 2001:470:c27d:e000:20c:29ff:fe26:51b7 --> 2001:470:1f08:181::2

I can connect via wget now

[carl@mars ~]$ wget -6 http://wraith.bhazey.co.uk/bbcrbms43w.txt

Which must be why wget worked for me.

hazeyb
