[SOLVED] Guru Test - Caching Issue?

I'm trying to get past the guru test but always fail the "Check to see that the nameservers associated with www.johnsonsfromtyler.com/main are IPv6 accessible" with an error of "Couldn't query the name server".  I've edited the field in number one to just my domain: "johnsonsfromtyler.com".

I have setup my domain registrar to only use all of HE's authoritative name servers (except ns1.he.net).  Here is the output when I dig ns2.he.net:

; <<>> DiG 9.6.0-APPLE-P2 <<>> johnsonsfromtyler.com ns @ns2.he.net

It's been 8 hours since I made any changes to my settings so I'm wondering if there is an error with one of my settings or if it is a caching problem.

You could email ipv6@he.net to have them kick the cache

svtamateur

Thanks - I have done as you have suggested.

They flushed the cache but also let me know I didn't have an AAAA record for my main domain but had them for my subdomains.  I added the AAAA record for the main domain but this still didn't fix the issue.  I had a thought that maybe my website url (which was www.johnsonsfromtyler.com/main/) was the culprit so I reset my certification back to Explorer and used the website of www.johnsonsfromtyler.com, quickly went through the certification tests again, and now am certified Sage.

you need to wait ... and depend to your TTL values

DiG 9.6.0?  So OLD....  ;)

Real hostmasters use 9.7.3, or even 9.8.0a1.

It's OSX dig, so it's more stylish.  :P
