[SOLVED] OSX and subnet routing
« on: August 20, 2008, 12:08:08 PM »

Helo i need the current command to get osx (tiger) to route the subnet 2001:470:1f15:4::1/64 via the gif1 interface, my man page for route is blank and goggle just gives me examples on how to set the default route please  help

Thank you in advance
Bjarne

Hmm gave google another try and found the correct syntax
route -nv add -inet6 2001:470:1f15:4::1 -prefixlen 64  -interface  gif1

You don't actually need the "-nv" for adding routes as those the options for numeric display (no resolving to names) and being verbose.  Just thought I'd let you know so you can save some typing.

The instructions given in my tunnelbroker account under the examples for Mac OSX worked as stated. I am using leopard 10.5.5

The was not a problem that needed solving.
