Hi everyone.  I'm thinking of playing around with pfsense to possibly take over the duties of my Cisco 1811 but before I do I was wondering if it truly supports ipv6 tunnel configurations with HE?  According to the ipv6 wiki it is one of the supported firewalls out there.  Has anyone been able to setup their tunnel with pfsense and is it something that can be done from the GUI or is it CLI only?

Thanks!

Easy to setup with the GUI, been running it for months now -- few bugs here and there as they tweak the code on the ipv6 build.

Here follow these steps

And keep an eye on this forum, post any questions or issues you have

Bit late response, but http://www.xaero.org/index.php/archive/configuring-a-6tin4-tunnel-on-the-pfsense-firewall/ worked for me with pfSense 1.2.3. Please note that with the embedded version the scripts only work if the FS is mounted RW.

Use the console to do this:
/etc/rc.conf_mount_rw -> mounts FS as read/write.
commands to start the scripts
/etc/rc.conf_mount_ro -> mounts FS as readonly.

I haven't been able to figure out a way to have this done automatic. Tried to write a script that does that, but didn't work for some reason. But doesn't matter, I don't reboot pfSense that often :)

Just wanted to update the thread that new location for how to get ipv6 up and running on pfsense, they finally put up on the official pfsense docs location.
