Can't find option to disable IRC block

Hello.  I read this notice, that says IRC is now blocked by default from being tunneled:

http://www.tunnelbroker.net/forums/index.php?topic=2081.0

I looked for the option to disable the IRC block, but couldn't find that option anywhere on the tunnel configuration pages for my tunnel.

Here's the details page for my tunnel:

http://www.tunnelbroker.net/tunnel_detail.php?tid=75936

I have achieved "Sage" level, so that shouldn't be a problem:

If anybody can point me to the option that will let me disable the IRC block, so that IRC works again over IPv6 (rather cool feature), I would be most appreciative.

Thanks!

Your tunnel isn't blocked. If you look at tunnel details, at the top section where it reads IRC Access: it shouldn't be blocked. As an admin I see the option to Block, which means it should be unblocked.

Thanks for checking!

Interestingly, I don't see the "IRC Access" section at all.  Just the other options.

The problem must have been on my end.  I tried IRC again, and this time, it worked!

It turns out I was trying to use the irc.ipv6.he.net server, 2001:470:0:6667::2 and it appears to be down.  Changed to another IPv6 IRC server, and that's just fine.

There is no more IRC server on our network, so if you specified an IP it won't work.

OK, thanks, that explains why it wasn't working then :)

I don't see an option on mine either. I can't get past professional in certs for right now as I do not have a viable server to setup a nameserver on. I've tried all efnet ipv6 irc servers and I don't even get a connection attempt. Is there no irc until I reach a cert level? I am well versed in ipv6 from v6v4 tunnels to bgp. I just can't up my cert level because I can't afford to rent a server right now..

No IRC access until you have completed the last test for glue which is Sage.
