HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! :'(

netsh interface ipv6 add addr "Local Area Connection" 2001:470:1f0e:e10::1

This is why it's not working...that address is the HE side of the tunnel.  You need to take an IP address from your router /64 allotment and assign that to this interface

nestorr67

Hi, thanks a lot for your help!!

would you help me with that please... how can i replace the address on the interface??? and which address shall i use??  im on an ipv4 network..

cholzhauer

How did you add it?  Via the command line or the gui?

The address you need is one from the routed /64 thats shown on your tunnel page; what is that range?

nestorr67

yes, i use the CLI to configure the interfaces on my laptop..

the output info on the tunnel details is this
Routed IPv6 Prefixes
Routed /64:2001:470:1f0f:e10::/64

is that the pool where i need to take the address from??

sorry for my lack of knowledge in this!!

thanks a lot

cholzhauer

OK, so do a

netsh int ipv6 delete address "Local Area Connection" 2001:470:1f0e:e10::1

to add the correct address

netsh int ipv6 add address "Local Area Connection" 2001:470:1f0f:e10::1

nestorr67

Thanks!!! im still not able to reach the default gateway on the IP6Tunnel..
do you think that this may be happening because of the two ipv6 address that are configured on the intrface? plus the Temp address..

The second longer address is not in the same subnet as the first...however you added it you'll have to remove it.

Is there another device on your network that is doing RA?

nestorr67

No there is not,

only the interface "Local area Connection" have the adversiment option enabled
netsh interface ipv6 set interface "Local Area Connection" forwarding=enabled advertise=enabled

when i try to configure this on the ip6tunnel it wont let me
netsh interface ipv6 set interface IP6Tunnel  advertise=enabled

it says that the parameter is incorrect

cholzhauer

Lets turn off all advertising until we can get the tunnel up

fiore

the ping to ipv6.google.com does not pass  I receive the message timeout
my machine behind  a pix 515E which is linked to the Internet router,

please what is the error source

thank you

You're best to start your own topic and provide a bunch of details about your setup
