Hi

When i copy and paste the below to my Win7,

netsh interface teredo set state disabled
netsh interface ipv6 add v6v4tunnel IP6Tunnel 192.168.1.138 216.218.221.42
netsh interface ipv6 add address IP6Tunnel 2001:470:35:833::2
netsh interface ipv6 add route ::/0 IP6Tunnel 2001:470:35:833::1

i keep getting "Element not found" message. The IP 192.168.1.138 is my wireless adapter IP address which will be NATed by my router to a public address.

Checked the registry there is no "DisabledCompoments" define.

Did i missed out anything ?

Unfortunately that error is very generic.  Did the tunnel adapter get created?  If so, I would remove and try again.  Are you running UAC?

chuahew

Hi

The tunnel adapter is not created.
what is UAC ?

Thanks

chuahew

Hi,

I am not using UAC.

Any other things to try ?

netsh int ipv6 isatap set state disabled

Let's try this

netsh interface ipv6 reset

I'd also try and remove the IP6Tunnel adapter, even though it says it's not there
