peering with France Telecom in Paris

I'm located in France, my ISP is Orange. However I get a faster service from the Tunnelbroker PoP in Frankfurt (Germany) than Paris (France) !

Would you mind looking for the possibility of adequate peering arrangements with France Telecom (Orange) in Paris ?

France Telecom has been contacted several times now, however they operate a "Restrictive" peering policy, so it takes a bit more to finalize the peering.

Just to add - FT for example dosn't peer with Google.
And they have an ipv6 address space that is only visible to parts of the ipv6 world (not to HE) - that's there's peering policy.
(FT is my ISP main transit provider so I feel that sometimes).

And so, does it mean there is little hope for better interconnection ? I'm afraid the details both technical and administrative of those peering agreements are slightly over my head ! But I'm confident still, since Broquea wrote of finalizing something of the kind...

Puzzled : IPv6 using the Paris PoP is still slower than through Frankfurt, despite my IPv4 being served by France Telecom Orange (residential ADSL). Could there be problems with routing (possibly, dubious IPv4 routing strategy within FT) ?

Here's a dual traceroute (v4) from my location to both points of presence. As you can notice, my route to Paris has more visible hops and takes longer than to Frankfurt. Is Orange routing me efficiently to the exchange point w/ Hurricane Elec., or - as I suspect - the "peering" agreement has changed nothing (for me) ...

Right! Am I being boring... from comparing the *v4* traceroutes I'm questioning if there doesn't look like the route from me to the tunnel broker in Paris is less than optimal as compared with the one to the Frankfurt pop - maybe it's inside of the Telia network?  I have no experience of intra and inter ISP routing protocols and strategies, and I sort of hoped you (all) experts could give a quick look.

Besides, I understand there isn't much I can do to change things, it's just some sick curiosity
