Title: IPv6 Tunnel and Freenas
Post by: ag33k on December 17, 2010, 03:53:55 AM
Good morning,

I have struggled to get my FreeNAS box to run the commands for setting up the tunnel.

This is what I get when using the FreeBSD => 4.4 commands

dhdnas:~# ifconfig gif0 create
ifconfig: SIOCIFCREATE2: Invalid argument

The other freebsd commands just state interface doesnt exist.

Has anyone got any idea where to start, I have googled it but have not seen a solution.

Thanks

Make sure the proper modules are in the kernel or loaded.  Not sure what the module name is for gif.  I don't do BSD much.
