Title: How do I make my IPv6 Tunnel work on router?
Post by: royalsymbol on August 16, 2012, 03:52:37 AM
Hi,

My old router is SMC wbr14-g, its really old from around 2004 I think.

I don't think it supports IPv6 but can someone confirm it for me, what should I try to do to make it work?

It worked when I bypassed my router.

What I've tried,

netsh interface teredo set state disabled
netsh interface ipv6 add v6v4tunnel IP6Tunnel 192.168.2.197 216.218.221.42
netsh interface ipv6 add address IP6Tunnel 2001:470:35:795::2
netsh interface ipv6 add route ::/0 IP6Tunnel 2001:470:35:795::1

I tried to enable DMZ for 192.168.2.197 and I can't visit ipv6.google.com unlike when I bypassed the router.

Theres no IPv6 support for my router and doesn't support protocol 41.

When you google for "wbr14-g ipv6" you get four results.  I would say your router does not support hosting a IPv6 tunnel
