Title: Are the tunnelbroker.net IPv6 DNS Servers free to use as well?
Post by: colonelf74 on September 18, 2012, 06:26:23 AM
I've no idea why, but lately Comcast stopped listing their IPv6 DNS servers on various webpages that they host for support.

This puts me in the bizarre position of wondering if I can use tunnelbroker.net purely for IPv6 DNS services,
and not really for a tunnel per se.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Adam W. Dace

If you're looking for recursive name servers, you're more than welcome to use the ordns.he.net ones even without a tunnel.  They're anycasted so you'll hit whatever's the closest.

ordns.he.net has address 74.82.42.42
ordns.he.net has IPv6 address 2001:470:20::2

Thanks a lot.  I didn't want to be stealing service or anything.
