Title: Update Tunnel Endpoint from dns.he.net
Post by: tpickard on September 06, 2014, 09:03:38 AM
Forgive me if this isn't a new topic, but my quick search didn't come up with the information I'm looking for and I don't have time for a more thorough search.

Is there or would HE consider making a setting in the Tunnelbroker dashboard to allow the endpoint to be updated by a URL or for an update to a DDNS entry in DNS.HE.NET to update the endpoint setting at the same time?

I see where changing the endpoint in Tunnelbroker can also change the DNS entry, but it seems to me that the reverse would make more sense.

A URL update as described in this post?  https://forums.he.net/index.php?topic=3153.0

Thank you! I hadn't quite figured out that I could use the same update client (FlavioNet - IPUpdate v2.1) on the tunnel endpoint and set the tunnel dashboard to update DNS. This got me there!
