Title: /48 & /64
Post by: weq on May 19, 2009, 10:26:57 AM
Hi I've allocated both and was wondering if HE then expects me to use both when I really only need the 48 cause of the reverse dns?
Or is it ok for to leave the /64 unused?

The routed /64 lets you have custom rDNS as well. You should be allocating /48s if you have more than one LAN/subnet requirement.

QuoteAlso please note that this is for delegation of reverse DNS for the netblocks listed below, your routed /64 and /48. The Point to Point /64 reverse DNS is never delegated.

Ah ok, then I've misunderstood what this meant. Should I delete my tunnel then and then just take up a /64?
