Title: IPsec transport mode supported on HE?
Post by: Doug0915 on June 29, 2009, 10:42:30 AM
I tried doing a manual keyed transport mode IPSEC connection (non tunnel) but it didn't work. Will transport mode IPSEC work over the tunnlebroker?

thanks!

Then you have misconfigured something. This definitely has nothing to do with the service provided by HE.

Well, I was curious because transport mode IPSEC is a different protocol type (protocol 50 and 51) and I've found that sometimes router engineers don't allow those protocols through (by forgetting to set them, etc).

Tunnel mode should work fine since it's encapsulated by UDP. I'll check my setkey settings again.
