Questions & Answers / Re: Cloudflare Blocked on Free Tunnels now?

lol. I thought about that before posting but honestly if HE did miss those ports I would prefer they close them rather than taking even more aggressive actions if CF proxies are causing them technical or legal issues.

**edit I actually mentioned the unblocked ports to HE on Nov 8th.

rec'd the same reply about cloudflare being blocked. Spent days with cloudflare support going over pcaps etc. It's a shame as cloudflare worked exceptionally well as a ipv4 to ipv6 proxy but I can't blame HE as I suspect someone was abusing CF/HE. FWIW last I checked alternate CF ports were still working whether by design or they were missed by HE

I find the reliability of dslr test can be iffy with higher speed tiers. ex. your 959 Mbps is not even possible with an mtu of ~1500 (1480) as it exceeds the theoretical maximum speed.

Connectivity has been restored in my case.

I received the following reply from the ticket I submitted earlier

"It wasn't taking updates earlier, but should be fine now."

Also seeing issues with tserv4.nyc4 as well. was working fine this morning but as soon as I rebooted my router which gave a new ipv4 address I lost all ipv6 connectivity. Oddly enough I have another site still connected to that pop which has not lost connectivity.

so far I checked that ddns updated my ipv4 endpoint ok or at least the tunnel config page says it's been updated.
first wireshark capture shows is replying with icmp type 3 code 3 port unreachable.

have you already submitted a ticket?

March cumulative update.

FWIW not all of microsoft ipv6 issues were fixed.

Questions & Answers / Re: How do I figure out which tunnel is closest

When creating your tunnel you are presented with the various tunnel servers and their IP addresses.

Questions & Answers / Re: HE tunnel not working with new ISP
« on: August 28, 2016, 11:23:40 PM »
has there been a change to MTU after changing ISPs?

ex. MTU of 1480 for a 6in4 tunnel using a cable provider vs MTU of 1472 for fiber if using pppoe without baby jumbo frames?

that's pretty much the approach I'm using. I setup an IPv4 only guest wifi SSID on my AP. Netflix is working fine on my ATV

Ya just started acting up for me as well. @Napsterbater if you get a response from netflix can you follow up here?

Router ip for 6in4 is not used / needed. router will get ::0 on lan interface / bridge ex. br0.

Also you need to enable either radvd or use dnsmasq for your RAs. Note windows machines will not pickup ipv6 dns from RA. I prefer dnsmasq myself as it will also send ipv6 dns via dhcpv6 other info. There is no need for any scripts.

note radvd was broken for a number of versions.

ddwrt FW is currently in the v28000 range

in any event see for config

With Comcast setup dhcpv6-PD with a prefered lifetime of infinity and the delegated prefix should be fairly stable.

IPv6 Basics & Questions & General Chatter / Re: Incoming traffic

You may want to check the firewall settings on your local computer. As an example by default windows firewall will block incoming echo requests over IPv6. I have no issues accessing my computer via RDP but it required allowing all (source) traffic on that port.
