My router runs OpenWRT 22.03.5 and I am using 6in4 to access the he.net tunnel, configuration (excerpt from /etc/config/network) is as follows:
config interface 'he_2_fra'
        option proto '6in4'
        option peeraddr '216.66.80.30'
        option ip6addr 'my_64_tunnel_address'
        option tunnelid '6_digit_tunnel_ID'
        option username 'my_username'
        option updatekey 'my_update_token'
        option tos 'inherit'
        list ip6prefix 'my_48_prefix'

My new ISP has a daily forced disconnection, so at least once a night I force "ifup wan" to restart the connection and the IPv4 address changes; recently I have noticed in the logs that I always get an "abuse" warning when the update succeeds, after 2 or 3 timeouts normally, but the tunnel otherwise works just fine.

Any idea what the problem might be?
If not, where do I look to see what is causing the warning?

I got the same error. Contacted support but they never gave any coherent response, nor provided any solution. In my case IP doesn't even change all that often, perhaps once a month at the most, and yet here we are. On top of recurring issues with google, this service is turning into a problem rather than a solution.

Well, actually, other than this warning I have no issues at all.
Even the warning isn't actually causing problems, at least not as far as I can tell!

well, now I get the "abuse" message AND the tunnel no longer works.
