« on: August 30, 2015, 06:51:24 AM »

hi i'm trying to learn this ipv6 thing. i have configured the computer using windows vista according to the instructions and i keep getting "not passed" on the explorer test ipv6 connectivity. I created a tunnel and still nothing. I need someone with more expertise on this to lend a hand

Your tunnel must not be up

Are you behind nat?  If so, did you later the commands you used to reflect the correct ip address?

i am using an AT&T modem that i think uses NAT. I have tried ' ping ipv6.he.net' from the command line and get back "could not find host ping"

Not that

Click on your tunnel name, then click on example configurations.

Is that what you used to create your tunnel?

it stated that if i was behind a firewall i need to locate my ip4 address from my DHCP service,
so when i used the ipconfig it showed my ip4 address as
192.168.1.66
rather then what is listed
99.108.19.241
is that assumption correct?
and that is what i need ot change?
