I'm from south korea, and using KT telecom now.
for exemple, hk server traceroute:
# upper part deleted for privicy
  5     4 ms     2 ms     2 ms  112.174.59.117
  6    12 ms     2 ms     1 ms  112.174.48.150
  7     9 ms    10 ms    10 ms  112.174.85.98
  8   127 ms   127 ms   127 ms  112.174.87.14
  9   136 ms   127 ms   128 ms  10ge4-9.core1.pao1.he.net [66.220.12.29]
10   136 ms   141 ms   136 ms  100ge7-1.core1.lax2.he.net [184.105.81.238]
11   240 ms   233 ms   238 ms  100ge13-1.core1.tyo1.he.net [184.105.65.10]
12   275 ms   284 ms   276 ms  100ge6-1.core1.hkg1.he.net [184.105.64.129]
13   338 ms   337 ms   338 ms  tserv2.hkg1.he.net [216.218.221.6]
in this, my packet first cross the Pacific once to usa,(CA) and then visit LA datacenter, come back over the pacific to tyoko, then goes to Hong Kong. and somehow it spent about 50ms in it.
Just why?
