Slave DNS record's pull time.
« on: November 10, 2013, 09:53:58 PM »

Hi all,
Do you know by any chance how often do HE.net DNS pull records from master dns which is my dns?
I set ttl to 1800. Initial pull happened but after that nothing. AXFR transfers go every 1800 seconds as it says in DNS file.

Initial pull
Nov 11 05:44:26 rdns named[6030]: client 216.218.130.2#48329: transfer of '1.1.1.in-addr.arpa/IN': AXFR started
Nov 11 05:44:26 rdns named[6030]: client 216.218.130.2#48329: transfer of '1.1.1.in-addr.arpa/IN': AXFR ended

Pull was successful but records on he.net dns do not change to the ones on my DNS server.

The actual thing is that records that were previously on my dns change to new ones, but absolutely new records that were added onto my DNS after the initial pull do not appear on he.net dns.

Thank you.

When you added records, did you remember to change your SOA-RR's serial number?
