Best Way to get 1 Gbps Speedtest?

Hello!; I have a connection of 1 Gbps, and I want to test my bandwidth Speedtest, what is the best way to test that I really get 1 Gbps?

I am using the Windows (installed) Desktop Version on a VM Host server (MS Server 2012R2) which is getting reliable and consistent results for me in Europe. (results 940-950Mbit/s up and down on a 1GB fiber connection)
